ICC Moves Champions Trophy from Dubai to Islamabad

The ICC Champions Trophy Tour has kicked off in Pakistan, but the official schedule for the tournament is still not announced. The delay happened because India has refused to take part in the event, causing a hold-up in finalizing the details.

The tour will run from November 16 to November 24, starting in Skardu, then moving to K2 Base Camp. The trophy will also visit other cities that will host the tournament’s matches.

This is the first time the ICC Champions Trophy Tour is happening without the official schedule being released in advance. Normally, the schedule is announced months before the tournament, but this time it has been delayed due to the situation with India.

The ICC Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, 2024. The schedule was supposed to be announced on November 11 in Lahore, but the event was canceled due to the issues with India’s participation.

India’s matches were originally set to take place in Lahore, but their absence has delayed the announcement of the full schedule.
