Scientists Discover the Largest Underwater Coral Reef Visible from Space

Scientists have discovered the largest coral reef in the world, located underwater, which is so vast that it can be seen from space.

This remarkable discovery has stunned experts, as the coral reef is estimated to be around 300 years old and stretches over 100 feet in length. The reef is made up of nearly 1 billion tiny polyps, which together form this enormous coral structure. This finding is considered a significant scientific achievement for marine life.

Rustin Seize, who provided details about this discovery, stated that the coral is located in American Samoa. It is three times the size of the previous record-holding coral. This massive coral reef is so large that its length surpasses that of the Earth’s largest living creature, the blue whale. While blue whales typically measure around 80 to 100 feet long, this coral reef is much larger.
