Saudi Arabia Condemns Bomb Blast in Quetta, Pakistan, That Killed 24
Riyadh, November 10, 2024 — Saudi Arabia has condemned the bomb blast that occurred at a railway station in Quetta, Pakistan, on Saturday, which killed at least 24 people and injured over 40 others.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom’s strong stance against all forms of violence and terrorism. The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and extended sympathies to the government and people of Pakistan. It also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
The explosion, which took place in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province, was claimed by the Baloch Liberation Army, a separatist militant group. The attack has raised concerns over security in the region, and investigations are ongoing.
