Historic Win: Pakistan Defeats Australia in ODI Series

Pakistan Dominates Australia in Final ODI to Secure 2-1 Series Win

Pakistan has made history by winning their first-ever One-Day International (ODI) series in Australia in 22 years. In the third and final ODI, Pakistan defeated Australia by nine wickets, securing a 2-1 series win. This marks their first ODI series victory on Australian soil since 2002.

Pakistan’s captain, Mohammad Rizwan, won the toss and chose to field first. With Australia missing key players like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Steve Smith, Pakistan’s bowlers took full advantage. Australia’s batting collapsed early, with the hosts bowled out for just 92 runs in 23.5 overs. Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah were the standout bowlers, taking three wickets each.

Pakistan easily chased down the small target, winning with plenty of wickets to spare and sealing a comfortable victory. The win comes after a strong performance in Adelaide, where Pakistan won the second ODI to level the series.

This historic win marks Pakistan’s first series victory in Australia since 2002 and their first ODI win there since 2017. Fans are celebrating the team’s impressive performance, and this victory boosts Pakistan’s confidence as they look ahead to future international matches.
