Bangladesh Defeats Afghanistan by 68 Runs in Second ODI
Sharjah – Bangladesh secured a convincing 68-run victory over Afghanistan in the second ODI of the series, leveling the series 1-1.
Batting first, Bangladesh posted a total of 252 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Shanto and Jaker played key roles with the bat, helping their team set a competitive target.
In response, Afghanistan could only manage 184 runs before being bowled out in the 44th over. Despite a solid start, they faltered in the middle overs, losing wickets quickly and falling short of the target.
The win comes after Afghanistan had beaten Bangladesh by 92 runs in the first ODI, where Afghanistan set a total of 235 runs and Bangladesh was dismissed for just 143 in the 35th over.
With the series now tied at 1-1, the final ODI promises to be a thrilling decider.
