Kylian Mbappé Left Out of France Squad for Nations League Matches

Paris – France coach Didier Deschamps has excluded Kylian Mbappé from the squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League games against Israel and Italy. This is the second time Mbappé has been left out, after missing the October matches against Israel and Belgium.

Mbappé, who plays for Real Madrid, was originally rested in October to recover from a thigh injury. However, he quickly returned to play for Real Madrid before the France games, causing some controversy.

While France won 4-1 against Israel and 2-1 against Belgium, Mbappé took a break in Stockholm. During this time, Swedish media reported that he was being investigated for an alleged rape, which Mbappé denied, calling the reports “fake news.” His lawyer also said they would take legal action for libel.

Mbappé has since played four games for Real Madrid, scoring once, but hasn’t yet returned to his best form.
