Rockets from Lebanon Hit Central Israel, Injuring 11

TIRA, Israel, Nov 2 – Rockets fired from Lebanon struck central Israel on Saturday, injuring 11 people, emergency services reported. One rocket hit a house in Tira, causing panic among residents.

Local resident Qasim Mohab described the scene, saying, “We saw dust, children screaming, women screaming.” Thankfully, he added, they were able to rescue those inside the damaged home without any fatalities.

This incident comes amid escalating violence between Israeli forces and Hezbollah since September, with recent U.S. efforts for a ceasefire showing little progress. The ongoing conflict raises serious concerns for the safety of civilians in the region.
