Sri Lanka A Defeats Pakistan Shaheens to Reach Final of ACC Emerging Teams T20 Asia Cup
Al Amerat, Oman – Sri Lanka A defeated Pakistan Shaheens by 7 wickets in the first semifinal of the ACC Emerging Teams T20 Asia Cup, securing a place in the final.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 135 runs for 9 wickets in their 20 overs, with opener Umair Bin Yousuf leading the innings with 68 runs. In response, Sri Lanka chased down the target, reaching 136 runs for 3 wickets in 17 overs. Ahan Wickramasinghe top-scored for Sri Lanka with 52 not out, supported by Lahiru Udara with 43 runs.
Sri Lanka A will now face the winner of the second semifinal between Afghanistan and India, scheduled for tonight at 6:30 pm. The final match is set for Sunday.
