World’s Smallest Functional Excavator Created
The Nano Trac N320 is the world’s smallest fully functional excavator, fitting in the palm of your hand. It is 1/64 the size of a regular excavator but can dig like a full-sized machine.
Jonathan Abbott, the creator, got the idea after watching a YouTube video about hobbyists who enjoyed playing with small excavators. Unable to find one for sale, he decided to make his own.
After practicing with CAD software and buying a 3D printer, Jonathan successfully built the Nano Trac N320. He launched a Kickstarter campaign with a goal of $20,000 but raised $268,000 in just 70 days.
