Pakistan Extends Kartarpur Corridor Agreement with India for Five Years

Islamabad: Pakistan has renewed the Kartarpur Corridor Agreement with India for another five years. The agreement, which was first signed on October 24, 2019, will now continue until October 24, 2029. This corridor allows Indian pilgrims to visit the Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara without a visa, promoting religious harmony and supporting the Sikh community’s long-standing wishes. The renewal has been welcomed by both countries and recognized internationally for its role in safeguarding minority rights.
