Occupied Kashmir: Unidentified Armed Men Kill Doctor and Six Others at Construction Camp

Gunmen Open Fire on Workers in Occupied Kashmir, Death Toll Rises

Occupied Kashmir: In a shocking attack, unidentified armed men opened fire on workers at a tunnel construction site in occupied Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals, including a doctor. The incident occurred at a camp where workers were engaged in building a tunnel aimed at connecting Occupied Kashmir with Ladakh.

Reports from Indian media indicate that several others were injured during the assault, with two individuals in critical condition. The deceased and injured workers, whose identities are still being verified, may include both locals and non-locals. As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The incident has provoked outrage, with Omar Abdullah, the newly appointed Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, condemning the violence as “cowardly.” He vowed to pursue justice for the victims and ensure the safety of workers in the region. In response to the attack, local authorities are expected to increase security measures to prevent further incidents.
