For South Africa, captain Laura Woolvard led from the front with 33 runs, but her efforts were not enough to chase down the target. Tazmin Brits added 17 runs, while Chloe Tryon managed 14. Despite their best efforts, the South African batting lineup struggled against New Zealand’s disciplined bowling attack.
South African bowlers Malaba took 2 wickets, while Aya Bonga Khaka, Chloe Tryon, and Nadine de Klerk took a wicket each, but it wasn’t enough to restrict New Zealand to a lower score.
