President Signs 26th Constitutional Amendment, Becomes Part of Pakistan’s Official Constitutio
Islamabad: The National Assembly Secretariat has issued the gazette notification for the 26th Constitutional Amendment after it was signed by the President of Pakistan. The amendment, approved by Parliament, was sent to the President for ratification upon the advice of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Following the approval by Parliament, Prime Minister Sharif signed the formal advice, forwarding the 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill to the President for final approval. With the President’s signature, the amendment officially became part of the Constitution, and the National Assembly subsequently issued the gazette notification, making the 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill 2024 an Act of Parliament.
